Track from
your wrist.
Round Review turns your Apple Watch into a hands-free golf tracker: raise your wrist after a shot, say what happened, and it records your words and your GPS right at the ball. Your phone stays in the bag. The round runs as a workout. And it all becomes your shot map, dispersion, and strokes gained — with no sensors on your clubs.
In private beta — we'll email you when there's a build to play.
Raise, say, walk on
Raise your wrist
The app is already awake — the round runs as a workout, so it's listening the moment you lift the watch.
Say the shot
A sentence — the club, how it felt, where it went. The watch records it and stamps your GPS position at the ball.
Keep walking
Your phone turns it into a logged shot in the bag. No screen to tap, no pace-of-play tax on your group.
Why the watch is the right capture device
The phone stays in the bag. Everything you need to log a shot is on your wrist — raise, speak, done. Nothing to fish out of your pocket between shots.
GPS at the ball. Because you capture from where you're standing, the shot is stamped at your actual position — the raw material for an accurate shot map.
It's a workout, too. Your round records as an Apple Watch workout with heart rate and saves to your fitness data — and staying a live workout is what keeps capture working on every hole.
No sensors, nothing extra to charge. Just the watch you already wear and the phone already in your bag. Nothing screwed into your grips.
The same rich data — from the wrist
Shots captured on the watch flow into the same picture everything else does: a shot map for every hole, dispersion by club, strokes gained across the bag, and the tendencies the app notices in your own words. Speak from the wrist during the round, or fill in the detail later by talking it through — the watch is one way in, not the only one.
Questions golfers ask
Can you track golf shots on an Apple Watch?
Yes. With Round Review you raise your wrist after a shot and say what happened — the watch records your words and your GPS position right at the ball, then hands them to your iPhone to turn into a logged shot. You can track a whole round from your wrist without ever taking your phone out.
Do you have to carry your phone?
Your iPhone comes along in the bag — the watch pairs with it — but it never has to leave the bag during the round. Capture happens from your wrist; the phone does the heavy lifting in your pocket.
Does it need club sensors?
No. There's nothing to screw into your grips and nothing to charge but the watch you already wear. Round Review captures from your voice and GPS, not from hardware on your clubs.
Does it track heart rate?
Yes. A round runs as an Apple Watch workout, so it records your heart rate and saves the round to your fitness data — and running as a workout is what keeps the app awake on your wrist all round, so raise-and-speak works on every hole.
Which Apple Watch do I need?
